Rachael Darmanin is the editor and creator of Underrated Magazine and current News Editor at CMJ. Most of the time you can find her out and about in New York City, bobbing her head and talking incessantly about her favorite bands. In between djing at various clubs in downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn, she regularly books sold-out showcases in some of the city's best venues. In 2006, she teamed up with Nora Walker (from I Rock I Roll) to create "The Blog Show," a weekly radio show on BreakThru Radio . She has written for publications such as CosmoGirl and NY Press, as well as featured in NYU’s Washington Square News, USA Today’s Pop Culture Blog, Associated Content, and Best Week Ever.
